INDIA’S FIRST INTERNATIONAL ROWING CHANNEL






Landscape Development for Rowing Channel at CME Campus, Khadki ,Pune.

The second Year M.Arch students had an opportunity to participate in the competition hosted by College of Military Engineering, Pune, for the Landscape development of the Rowing channel at the CME Campus, Khadki Pune.The area of the CME campus is 3600acres and the delineated area for Landscape development and 660 acres of area was selected for detailed landscape design proposal. The CME campus has an historical as well as ecological significance with the ‘Sarvatra Bird sanctury’ located in the heart of the campus.

Joint Study on Forts of Maharashtra
This was a 7 day joint workshop organized by BNCA, for students of first year of BNCA and SPA, Delhi – Departments of Landscape Architecture.
It gave an opportunity to students to hear to experts who have worked extensively on forts like Historians, Archeologists ,BISM experts, Geologist and Botanist. Students also visited 3 types of forts – Land fort – Daulatabad fort, Sea fort – Janjira fort and Hill fort – Raigad fort and conducted necessary surveys.
